New Delhi, 16 March: The EFY Group, publishers of leading technology publications in
India, has recently announced the launch of Electronics Bazaar, an English monthly.
This new magazine has a single point agenda-- to assist the Indian industry in
sourcing Electronics components, products and machinery.

Though a few sourcing magazines already exist, Electronics bazaar is India\'s first
magazine focusing solely on electronics. Hence, its target audience includes
purchase managers and senior decision makers of electronics industry as well as
those firms that consume electronics in bulk, such as firms from the automotive
segments.

The launch of the magazine has been timed with the increasing optimism in the Indian
electronics industry. Even the Indian Government has started to recognise the
potential of the electronics industry, especially w.r.t. Growing the manufacturing
sector. The GoI has also recently announced some favourable policies including the
recent \'Semiconductor\' policy.

The industry response to Electronics Bazaar\'s first issue-15th Feb to 15th March has
been very encouraging. Prashant Shah, vice-president, Communication Surface Mount
Technology Association (SMTA), said, "I am sure, this magazine being B2B will
provide the much needed information from the industry and for the industry and the
services sector will be served better."

Commenting the launch, Vinod Sharma, president, ELCINA Electronics Industries

According to S Narayana, president, Institution of Electronics and telecommunication
